PostSubject: General Population Ranks of SRG   General Population Ranks of SRG EmptyWed Oct 12, 2011 11:41 am

Silent Recon Gaming has a list of ranks that are unlike other communities, each rank has its own meaning and limit to when it's reached by members.

Scout (Recruit Rank)

Scouts are new people seeking entry who must complete a week long trial and pass evaluation to gain entry into SRG. Once a Scout gains entry, they will be promoted to the rank of Agent. The trial week is where the Scout will learn about fighting as unit in game and being relied upon to follow through on that. The evaluation a Scout must pass is where we see if the Scout manages to take everything they've learned the past week and manage to put it into a real time scenario.

Agent (Private Rank)

Agents are people who have passed trial and evaluation and can now call themselves full members of SRG. An Agent is then required to sign up at the website, read the rules, find the people in the team they have been assigned to and associate with them. The key thing every agent will learn is, the unit is the greatest weapon of all, they will fight with their unit and die with their unit. Agents are not required to recruit people into SRG, however, that does not mean they are bound by this. If an Agent wishes to bring someone in they are more than allowed to do so. Agents must also attend team trainings whenever possible. The least amount of time for an Agent's next promotion is two (2) weeks, once they have at least two weeks in, they are eligible for promotion to the rank of Operative.

Operative (Corporal Rank)

Operatives are members who have shown dedication and willingness to be in SRG. These members can now considered themselves hardened and just like Agents are not required to recruit if they do not want to. It is, however, by this point Operatives must know a little knowledge on unit tactics and be able to use them in the field. They must be able to show unity even with members they do not get along with. Also an Operative is now eligible to start leading and assisting trainings inside the team. As they are still required to attend team trainings whenever possible they can now start using the ability to be the commander. The least amount of time for an Operative's next promotion is three (3) weeks, once they have put in at least another three weeks into SRG, they are eligible for promotion to the rank of Specialist.

Specialist (Sergeant Rank)

Specialists are members who have shown the ability to lead and help lead in combat, they have shown unity and loyalty to their fellow team members. It is now these members can call themselves veterans of SRG and still are not required to recruit just like Operatives and Agents. By now, Specialists must know the Honor Creed of SRG and will also have quite a bit of knowledge on unit tactics and battlefield strategy. Still having to go to team trainings whenever possible but also being more than able to lead them now. The leadership skills of a Specialist are now truly tested as well as organizational skills. Specialist are encouraged (but not required) to help new Agents in their team adjust to life in SRG, acting mainly as a mentor almost. A Specialist with also learn how to manage team issues in case something comes up between two team members. The least amount of time for a Specialist's next promotion is another three (3) weeks (and if the position is open), once a Specialist has put in at least three more weeks minimum they will be invited to attend Command Training and from there they will be selected for the rank of Vanguard and the position of Team Leader.

Commandos must become more of tacticians now, creating new tactics or perfecting old tactics, they also must be able to see battlefields beyond the normal eye.
